Role Description

SWIDIA is looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to drive client media performance and development of our internal media department. You will have an opportunity to work directly with the founders at a fast-growing company and create significant impact across both media and business development initiatives. SWIDIA prides itself in serving cutting-edge high growth companies and has an exciting opportunity to continue its growth with both venture funds and overseas capital groups focused on the tech startup sector. This is a significant and core role at SWIDIA that has the potential to grow into a long-term leadership role.

Responsibilities

Media Account Management:

  • Ensure strong-performing and healthy media accounts that continue to grow in spend/channel diversity
  • Drive media accounts’ media planning, forecasting, performance benchmark/goals, and roadmap
  • Client-facing account mgmt. responsible for paid media projects, covering day-to-day communications, reporting, meetings, planning sessions, and potential upsell/scope expansion/change order

Business Development:

  • Drive media team efficiency through processes, best practices, and training/guidance
  • Drive media collateral development - case studies, content, potential pitch material
  • Develop new offering/productization of services to respond to evolving client needs/market trend
  • Conduct routine market/competitor review/studies to inform latest best practices and emerging sectors/opportunities
  • Introduce industry network and promote collaboration across teams/brands/agencies
  • Interview/introduce new operators to the team who could help with project delivery/business development

Client Growth + Partnerships:

  • Identify/source and initiate new project conversations
  • Help with/lead project closes
  • Identify/source and initiate new partnership conversations (agencies, funds, etc.)

Support for the Role:

  • A team of part-time/full-time media buyers with experience across primary performance channels
  • An in-house creative team focused on developing ad and marketing creatives
  • An advisory network of industry veterans/investors/agency owners/brand-side leadership

Role Description

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of Facebook Ads Manager, and relevant performance marketing experience (Google Ads, Bing Ads, other social channels, and certifications are a plus)
  • Previous experience managing 5-7 figure monthly media budgets across multiple ad accounts
  • Proficient in Facebook Ads and Google/Bing Ads Manager
  • Familiar with standard practices, and procedures within an agency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Working knowledge of analytics & attribution tools (Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, Looker, Supermetrics)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate in team settings
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in client-facing roles
